Day 5 Update: After the ups & downs, and a big Sunday, Gully Boy has sustained well at the box office on its first Monday. The film collected around 9.14 crores, and is on its way to emerge as a HIT at the box office. However, a double digit figure would have looked better. But, still the first Monday collections are good enough, and are same as what we expected in our Day-4's box office report. Gully Boy witnessed around 46% drop on Monday from its first day collection.
Looking at the trend, Gully Boy should comfortably breach the 100 crore mark by the end of its first week.
Day 6 Update: Gully boy was steady at the box office on Day 6 (Tuesday), as it showed minimal drop in its business from Monday. The film collected around ~8.62 cr. on Tuesday. The six day box office collection total of Gully Boy stands at around 90.66 crores in India. Gully Boy, in all possibilities will cross the 100 crore mark on Thursday. And, the film is ready to get the HIT tag at the domestic box office.
Day 7 Update: Gully Boy had a drop of around 21% from yesterday's collections, and is quite steady at the box office, despite doing well only at the major urban centres. The film collected around ~6.75 cr. on Wednesday ( Day 7), which takes the overall box office total to 97.42 crores.
Day 8 Update: Gully Boy has crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office on its 8th day. The first week (8 days) collection for Gully Boy at the domestic box office stands at 103.11 crores. The film collected around 5.69 cr. on Thursday. The collections have largely remained steady in the weekdays. It needs to be seen how the film does at the box office in its second week.
