Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe Sandalwood Box Office Collection Report.
Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe, featuring Vinay Rajkumar, Malika Singh and Swathishta Krishnan in the lead roles, was released on 9th February 2024 in Karnataka and had a decent start at the Sandalwood box office. Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe is a romantic drama directed by Simple Suni of 'Simple Aag Ond Love Story' fame.

OSPK Paid Previews Box Office Collection: Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe, abbreviated as OSPK, had paid previews on Thursday evening onwards in select cities like Bangalore, Mysore, etc. before its first day release at the Kannada box office. In Bangalore, paid previews were organized in 14 theaters, with one show per theater from 6:30 p.m. onward. OSPK collected, on average, 18,000 per show, totaling around an estimated ~2.50 lakhs in Bangalore.
At least half a dozen Kannada movies released this week at the Sandalwood box office, among all, Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe is the one that received the widest release all across Karnataka. By itself, Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe is a small-scale release at the box office typical of lower-midrange Kannada movies. But considering the face-value of the film, the release scale is more than sufficient and the film has enough platform to perform, all that matters is that the film actually performs utilizing the allotted number of shows.
OSPK Day 1 Box Office Collection: On Day 1, Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe was released in 44 properties (12 single screens + 32 multiplexes) and was alloted 79 shows in Bangalore. The movie collected around an estimated ~20 lakhs in Bangalore and ~30 lakhs all-over Karnataka.
OSPK Day 2 Box Office Collection: On Day 2, Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe ran in same number of properties as on Day 1, and was alloted a total of 82 shows in Bangalore. Even though the movie started very slowly in the morning shows with the average occupancy being less than 10%, it picked up from afternoon shows with average occupancy per show going past 50% in the evening and night shows. OSPK saw around ~50% jump in collections on Saturday and collected around an estimated ~30 lakhs in Bangalore and ~45 lakhs all-over Karnataka.
