Surya TV has trounced Asianet in the TRP ratings chart this week. Asianet has lost its top position after a really long time. The lack of new episodes of Asianet's TV serials due to COVID-19 lockdown, is hurting the channel's viewership ratings.

Flowers TV has moved-up one position to occupy the 4th place in this weeks' TRP rating list with 96085K impressions. Asianet Movies, which had occupied the 4th place in last week's rating list, is out of the Top-5 this week. Kairali TV has made a comeback to the Top-5 and is currently holding the 5th place with 81387K impressions.
The viewership impressions of the news channels are gradually coming down, and seem to be going back to the viewership before the coronavirus ratings surge.

The Malayalam TV channels have maintained their TRP ratings from last week with Asianet still leading the Top-5 list. The new entrant to the Top-5 list this week is Asianet Movies, which replaces Zee Keralam to occupy the 4th spot with 84837K impressions.
After seeing a huge surge in their viewership ratings for the last two weeks, Malayalam news channels have taken an overall slight dip in their TRP ratings this week. But, the ratings are still very high if we compare them to the ratings before the coronavirus outbreak period.
