Update (June 27, 2020): Tamil comedy film, 'Cocktail', featuring actor Yogi Babu in the lead role, will witness direct digital release. The film is scheduled for digital premiere on OTT platform Zee5 on 10 July 2020.
Update (June 20, 2020): 'Walter' digital premiere is scheduled on OTT platform Sun NXT on Monday 22 June 2020.
Update (June 1, 2020): 'Thirumanam' is scheduled for its digital release on 10th June on OTT platform Zee5. And, 'Thoratti' will be available for online streaming from 24th June on Zee5.
Update (May 16, 2020): Tamil movie 'Mamakiki' digital rights have been acquired by OTT platform Zee5, and the film will now directly release online skipping the theatrical release. The film is scheduled to release digitally on 30th May 2020.
Update (May 15, 2020): 'Pon Magal Vandhal' and 'Penguin' digital release dates have been announced. Both the films will be releasing on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. 'Pon Magal Vandhal' will witness its digital premiere on 29 May, and digital premiere of 'Penguin' is scheduled on 19 June 2020.
Update (May 11, 2020): Actress Keerthy Suresh starrer Tamil film named 'Penguin' is all-set to directly release on OTT bypassing the theatrical release. The digital rights of 'Penguin' have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video, and the film will be making its digital premiere soon. We will update once the date gets announced.
Update (May 06, 2020): Tamil action-thriller film, 'Sathru', which was released at the box office on 8th March, made its digital premiere today on Amazon Prime Video. Subscribers can now stream 'Sathru' online on Primevideo India.
Update (April 30, 2020): Comedy film 'Chennai Palani Mars' and action film 'Kuthoosi' digital rights have been acquired by OTT platform Zee5. 'Chennai Palani Mars' will make its digital premiere on 8th May, and 'Kuthoosi' will make its digital premiere on 15th May.
Update (April 28, 2020): Action-drama movie featuring actor Samuthirakani in the lead role, 'Adutha Saattai', will see its digital premiere on OTT platform Sun NXT on 1st May. Anaother Tamil film, 'RK Nagar' is available for online watching on Netflix India from today.
Update (April 27, 2020): Action-comedy film 'Dagaalty' will be available for online streaming on OTT Sun NXT from 30 April onwards.
Update (April 25, 2020): 'Pon Magal Vandhal', starring actress Jyothika in the lead role, is expected to release directly on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video in the month of May 2020. We will update the exact date soon.
Update (April 11, 2020): Tamil movie Asuraguru (2020) has started playing on YuppTV. The movie is also on the catalogue of Amazon Prime Video, but it currently unavailable for streaming in India. We will update once it becomes available for the Indian subscribers of PrimeVideo India.
Update (April 7, 2020): The digital rights of the Tamil comedy film, 'Dharala Prabhu', which was released at the box office on 13th March 2020, has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video and will be available for online streaming from April 9th onwards. The movie had its box-office run cut-short due to the closure of theatres because of the coronavirus outbreak. Those who missed to watch this film in the cinema halls can now catch it on Amazon Prime.
Update (April 2, 2020): 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' started streaming on Netflix from 29th March. Tamil horror film, 'Iruttu', featuring Sundar C in the lead role will be streaming on digital platform Sun NXT from 3rd April. And, 'Sethum Aayiram Pon' is available to watch online on Netflix from 1st April.
'Psycho' and 'Gypsy' streaming rights have been bought by OTT platform Zee5, and both the films will soon be making their digital debut.
Update (March 20): 'Draupathi' has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. 'Taana' and 'Vanmurai' are streaming now on Yupp TV, and both movies may be available later on Primevideo.
