The much-awaited debut film of Yuva Rajkumar, titled as Yuva, has finally hit the screens on 29th of March 2024. The movie has opened to a huge response from the fans and audience alike at the Sandalwood box office. We give you the complete box office details of Yuva in this post

Yuva Day 1 Box Office Collection: The advance booking for tickets of Yuva were opened on 27th of March in Karnataka and witnessed, an honestly unexpected, huge response from the audience. The bookings were akin to films of top-tier Kannada superstars. We tracked the advance ticket sales of Yuva theatre-by-theatre, as we always do, and tickets worth of ~30 lakhs were sold just in Bangalore for first day (Friday, 29th March) at the end of Thursday (28th March). The advance booking of tickets at the end of Thursday was about ~50 lakhs for first day and ~65 lakhs for the first weekend (Friday + Saturday + Sunday) all-over Karnataka. So far, this is the best advance booking for a Kannada film in 2024.

Yuva, which is a Hombale Productions' film, was released at 87 properties (theatres: 46 single screens + 41 multiplexes) and was alloted 363 shows in Bangalore. The movie had an overall occupancy of around ~60-65% (morning + afternoon + evening + night shows) all-over Karnataka. Yuva has collected around an estimated ~2.00 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~3.25 crores in Karnataka. This makes Yuva the best opening Kannada film of 2024, far ahead of all the earlier Kannada releases this year. Yuva, both the film and the actor, has got an excellent start at the Sandalwood box office, and it remains to be seen if the good opening is sustained in the next two days which would be crucial.
Yuva Day 2 Box Office Collection: Yuva has sustained well at the Sandalwood box-office on its second day by collecting close to Day-1's collection. The second day collection of Yuva in Bangalore is around an estimated ~2.00 crores, and in Karnataka around an estimated ~3.25 crores. This takes the two days collection to approx 6.50 crores.
Yuva Day 3 Box Office Collection Update: Yuva has scored another big day at the box office as it maintained its excellent collection on Day 3 as well. The Sunday collections are in the same range as the first two days' collections. Yuva collected around an estimated ~2.00 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~3.25 crores in Karnataka. This takes the first weekend collections of Yuva to approx 9.75 crores.
Yuva Day 4 Box Office Collection Update: Yuva's Monday collections fell by around ~70%, but the Day-4 collection is still good enough to carry the movie in the weekdays. Yuva collected around an estimated ~0.65 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~1.00 crores in Karnataka.
Yuva Day 5 Collection Update: Tuesday collections of Yuva are down by another 25% as the film collected around an estimated ~0.45 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~0.75 crores in Karnataka.
Yuva Day 6 Collection Update: Wednesday collections of Yuva are similar to Tuesday's collections as it collected around an estimated ~0.45 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~0.70 crores in Karnataka.
Yuva Day 7 Collection Update: The movie collected around an estimated ~0.35 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~0.55 crores in Karnataka.
Yuva Day 8 (Second Friday) Collection Update: Even with the release of new films this week like Avatara Purusha 2, Matinee, Marigold, Bharjari Gandu and Family Star, Yuva retained a good number of shows for itself, more than any of the new Kannada releases. Yuva was allotted 133 shows in Bangalore on its second Friday. The movie also collected more than any of the new Kannada releases this week. Yuva collected around an estimated ~0.30 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~0.50 crores in Karnataka.
Yuva Day 9 (Second Saturday) Collection Update: Yuva continues to be the best collecting Kannada movie this weekend even with the release of four new Kannada movies with three of those being led by established recognised faces, still none of the new releases could make much of an impact at the box office. Yuva collected around an estimated ~0.45 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~0.80 crores in Karnataka.
Yuva Day 10 (Second Sunday) Collection Update: Yuva had another good Sunday as its collections were more than all the other Kannada movies' collections on Sunday put together. The film collected around an estimated ~0.60 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~1.00 crores in Karnataka. This takes the second weekend collection of Yuva to around ~2 to ~2.5 crores in Karnataka.
Yuva Day 12 (Second Tuesday, Ugadi Holiday) Collection: Yuva made full use of the Ugadi holiday on Tuesday as it trended similar to second Sunday as the footfalls were close to Day 10. The film is already a HIT, and is also the Highest Grossing Kannada Film Of The Year 2024 (HGOY) so far. This is a dream debut for Yuva Rajkumar and gives a solid platform to bulid his career. The film collected around an estimated ~0.55 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~0.90 crores in Karnataka. This takes the total collection of Yuva to around ~16 crores in Karnataka. Yuva Second Week Collection Update: Yuva made good use of the holidays (Udadi & Eid) in the weekdays of second week as it recorded good footfalls. The film collected around an estimated ~2.55 crores in Bangalore and around an estimated ~4.25 crores in Karnataka in week 2. Even with the new releases, Yuva was virtually unshakeable at the Sandalwood box office and the movie is poised to do well even in its third week. 'Yuva' opened to mixed reviews from the critics, and the audience word-of-mouth was pretty positive, going by our audience response samples collected at the multiplexes and single screens on the first day.
