The Kannada action-drama, 'Bharaate, after seeing a slight dip in its business on Day 2, saw a good rise in its collections at the box office on its 3rd day (Sunday). The film's growth on Sunday was significant, specially after the drop on Day 2 and the not-so-encouraging audience word-of-mouth. The collections on 3rd day are actually better than the 1st day, which makes Sunday the highest day for 'Bharaate' at the box office. 'Bharaate' collected around an estimated ~1.80 crores on Day 3 (Sunday). While the growth from Day 1 to Day 3 is around ~20%, the growth from Day 2 to Day 3 is a notable ~55%. The film has collected around ~4.45 crores in its first weekend. We have to wait, to see how well the film can do in the weekdays.
If we go by the 3rd day growth and collection, 'Bharaate' seems to have shrugged-off the negative talks surrounding the film regarding its content. But, the real test for the film is on Monday, which will truly indicate the actual overall audience response towards the film. If the film sustains well on Monday, then actor Sri Murali, director Chetan Kumar will have another HIT film in their hands. The film ideally shouldn't fall by more than 50% on Monday vis-à-vis Friday. Anything less than 35-40% will be considered as good hold.

'Bharaate' is directed by Chetan Kumar, who previously directed films like 'Bahaddur' and 'Bharjari'. Actress Sree Leela who debuted with AP Arjun's Kannada film 'Kiss', plays the female lead in this film.
