The first day advance ticket booking for the film 'War' has been excellent, and has the best advance ticket sales for a Bollywood movie this year. The advance booking is universally good, right from the Metros, Tier-1, Tier-2 cities to even the smaller towns and the interiors. Both the multiplexes and the single screens have recorded humongous advance sales. The advance ticket sales is better than 'Bharat' at almost all the places. Even though the screen count for 'War' is lesser than 'Bharat', the advance ticket sales are way more than what 'Bharat' had sold. Therefore, if we go by the advance booking, then the first day box office collection of 'War' should be easily above 'Bharat's Day 1 figures. We also predict 'War' to break the 'Thugs Of Hindostan' opening day record and become the HIGHEST OPENING Bollywood film ever.
'War' is releasing alongside with the southern big-budget film 'Sye Raa' which is also releasing in the Hindi market through its Hindi dubbed version, and also releasing is the Hollywood film 'Joker'. 'Joker' has about ~500 screens on Day 1. And, 'War' is releasing in around an estimated ~4200 screens & 'Sye Raa' Hindi version has around ~850 screens as on Day1.

Overseas - 1350,
Total - 5350.
Going by the advance booking figures, the first day box office collection of 'War' can be around 55-58 crores, and can go beyond the 60 crore mark depending on the walk-ins/spot bookings tomorrow.
UPDATE: War has even surpassed the total pre-release advance ticket sales of 'Thugs of Hindostan', and therefore should comfortably take an opening more than what Thugs took.
