The first day advance booking of Ayushman Khurana starrer comedy film, 'Bala', has been good and is almost similar to the first day advance booking of 'Dream Girl', albeit 'Bala' is only slightly less than 'Dream Girl'. The Metros and the Tier-1s are very similar to 'Dream Girl', but it is the smaller cities, towns and the mass belts that have shown notable reduction from 'Dream Girl'.
Going by the first day advance booking, 'Bala' can take an opening of around 7-8 crores on its first day at the box office. Dream Girl had taken an opening of around ~8.75 crores (1Films data estimate). The first day numbers of 'Bala' can go beyond the 8.5-9 mark depending upon the spot bookings/walk-ins tomorrow. Overall, 'Bala' is all set for a good Day 1 at the box office.
