KGF is a well shot film, and is a worthy attempt by Prashanth Neel and team, and you can definitely watch it once.

The screenplay is the most interesting part of the film. The non-linear pattern keeps the viewers engaged, with the growth of Rocky being shown in a steady fashion.

If you want entertainment, KGF is not the place to be. Even Srinidhi Shetty and Tamannaah fail to excite.

That way, KGF: Chapter 1 tries a little too hard. The film has a solid story line. But, KGF: Chapter 1 fails to tap into the emotional side of the characters.

The slow motions, camera angles and background scores are placed aptly for the hero, making KGF the biggest mass entertainer of the year.

The impressively-mounted sets make up for Prashanth Neel's flimsy storyline. Composer Ravi Basrur lifts up the scenes with his terrific background orchestra

A bird with golden wings cannot fly, and so is KGF which only shines but fails to offer a soulful experience in the end!

The resultant 155-minute mixture is an over-the-top and prolonged saga that feels like an endless attempt to mine good material where there is none.

The visuals are consistently stunning. For instance, the bloody and raw climax takes your breath away.

Filmmaker Prashanth Neel has laid out the set-pieces quite well for a cracking sequel, which we hope, will be far better than this film.

Director Prashanth Neel's story is fascinating to listen to and the impressive visuals add to the film's intensity.

KGF isn’t a drab fare. Nonetheless, it falls short of becoming a great movie by a long mile.
