Bad Newz is a 2024 upcoming Hindi-language comedy film, starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the lead roles. The film is directed by Anand Tiwari, who is known for directing the 2020 web-series named 'Bandish Bandits'. The film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions along with the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video and Leo Media Collective. Bad Newz is scheduled to release on 19th of July 2024 in the theatres. Bad Newz OTT Platform & OTT Release Date
The OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has bought the OTT rights of 'Bad Newz'. The information of Amazon Prime Video being the OTT partner was indicated through the release of a first look poster of the film, which contains the logo of the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The OTT release date is yet to be announced. As the film is yet to be released theatrically, the OTT release date will be announced after the film finishes its theatrical run, depending upon the nature of the deal signed by the producers of the film with the OTT platform. We expect Bad Newz to have its OTT premiere in the last week of August 2024, about six to eight weeks after the movie's theatrical release. More nearer the OTT release date to the theatrical release date, more money will have to be paid by the OTT platform to the movie's producers. The satellite TV broadcast rights deal of Bad Newz has been finalized. The TV rights of Bad News movie are bought by Colors Cineplex, which is the flagship Hindi movie channel of Viacom 18. The date of the world TV premiere of the film is still to be announced, as the film is yet to see its initial digital release. We will update the World TV Premiere date of Bad Newz once it is announced.
