The movie first has to be released theatrically, and then a few weeks after its theatrical release, it will be released on OTT, depending on the deal signed by the producers of the film and the OTT platform. Matinee might be released on OTT about 4 to 6 weeks after its box-office release. So, if Matinee releases on April 5, 2024, in cinemas, then you can expect the OTT release date of Matinee to be May 10, or May 17, 2024.
