'Housefull 4', the box office super-hit comedy film, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, made its television debut on Sunday, 22nd December. The film was telecasted only on Star Gold TV channel, which is the Star network's flagship movie channel. On its TV debut, 'Housefull 4' was given the 12 PM slot, which is mostly the case for most of the TV premieres of Bollywood movies. The film, just like during its box office run, has managed to totally surprise everyone with its TRP ratings.
On its TV Premiere, 'Housefull 4' received a huge response from the TV audience, and has the HIGHEST TRP for a Bollywood film in 2019 on its first airing on television. According to the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), 'Housefull 4' garnered around 215.42 lakh (2.15 crores in other words) viewership impressions on its TV debut on Star Gold. The film has proved to be a HIT on the television as well like it was at the box office.
