'Brahmastra', the first part of the mythological trilogy, which has been in the making for several years now, has finally been scheduled to arrive at the cinemas in December this year. The most ambitious project of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has witnessed delays after delays, and had multiple changes to its theatrical release date. And with the coronavirus pandemic leading to nation-wide lock-downs and halting of shootings & other cinema related works, the film may not actually release in 2020. 'Brahmastra' is directed by Ayan Mukerji, and features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan.
The OTT platform Hotstar has acquired the online streaming rights of 'Brahmastra'. We will update the Digital Premiere date of 'Brahmastra' at the earliest once it is announced.
The trailer of 'Brahmastra' movie is yet to be released, but the first look posters of the film have been quite intriguing. The film seems to be an altogether different kind, and will be interesting to see what it has to offer. The trailer, obviously, is one of the most awaited among the upcoming Hindi films.

Brahmastra Satellite Rights
The satellite rights of the original Hindi language version of 'Brahmastra' have been acquired by Star Gold. The date of the TV premiere of the film is yet to be announced, as the film is yet to see its initial box-office release, which is currently scheduled on 4th December 2020. The satellite rights of the dubbed regional language versions of 'Brahmastra' are also with the Star TV network, and the dubbed versions will be broadcasted on TV on their respective regional Star TV channels: Star Maa in Telugu, Star Vijay in Tamil, Star Suvarna in Kannada and Asianet in Malayalam. We will post the World TV Premiere dates of 'Brahmastra' once it is announced. The film will be first available on the streaming platform Hotstar for online streaming, and later it will be premiered on TV on Star.
