'Gulabo Sitabo', the Hindi language comedy-drama film featuring actors Ayushman Khurana and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles, was supposed to release theatrically on 17th April 2020. But, the coronavirus pandemic and the resultant worldwide lock-downs, has forced the film to re-schedule its original release date, and to even skip the theatrical release and release directly on the OTT platform. As a result, the film will not be releasing at the cinemas, and instead it will be released first on an online streaming platform and then on the television. 'Gulabo Sitabo' is directed by Shoojit Sircar.
The OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has the online streaming rights of 'Gulabo Sitabo', and it has already announced the digital release date of the film. 'Gulabo Sitabo' will witness its World Digital Premiere on 12th June 2020 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
The trailer of 'Gulabo Sitabo' has been released on both Amazon Prime Video's own website and on APV's official YouTube channel. The trailer looks promising, and has been well-received by the intended audience. The film will open doors of new opportunities and choices for the movie-makers, if it succeeds on Amazon Prime Video. All eyes now on 12th June 2020.

Gulabo Sitabo Satellite TV Rights
The satellite TV broadcast rights of 'Gulabo Sitabo' have been bought by Sony Max. The date of the world TV premiere of the film is still to be announced, and it will be only after its World Digital Premiere, in accordance to the deals signed between the producers and the channel. We will update the World TV Premiere and Digital Premiere dates of 'Gulabo Sitabo' once it is announced.
